Job Description
To fully take accountability for the translation and implementation of finance strategy into supported business area. Provide leadership, vision, direction to financial management team and ensure the implementation of full financial management services into supported business.
To champion excellence in financial management and value creation. Involves enforcing robust financial policies and controls, driving impactful performance management processes. By providing strategic input into reporting deliverables, the role ensures comprehensive and actionable insights are delivered to stakeholders. This role is specific to Africa Regions and Standard Bank Offshore, spanning across the 18 countries in which we operate and will cover all Corporate Functions and Office of the CE.
A crucial aspect of the role is fostering value management through developing measures of improvement that empower stakeholders to achieve outstanding outcomes. It emphasises the coordination and synthesis of financial information across daily, monthly, annual, and ad hoc frameworks, ensuring informed decision-making. Additionally, the role encompasses conducting in-depth financial analyses and feasibility studies for stakeholder-initiated projects, underpinning the drive for sustainable value and innovation.
