Job Description

The Senior Feature Analyst leads the analysis and design of complex, industry-aligned solutions by translating business needs into detailed functional specifications. Operating at a self-directed level, the role fosters strong cross-functional relationships and collaborates closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Designers, and business stakeholders to drive product outcomes and ensure end-to-end alignment. This job provides thought leadership on business processes and leads solution development that promotes efficiency, scalability, and customer value. It guides and mentors other feature analysts, supporting the maturity of the practice and delivery of high-quality features. Additionally, this job supports product leadership in managing scope, stakeholder expectations, and the timely delivery of strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements Management | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Plan and coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS: Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe changes required for migration to the "to be" capability.
  • Business Requirements Identification | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS: Elicit complex business requirements using methods like interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis.
  • Enterprise Business Analysis | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Interpret business needs and identify solution recommendations at a business unit level.
  • Feasibility Studies | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS: Conduct feasibility studies and document findings for cost-benefit analysis of changes.
  • Horizon Scanning | GENERAL | INNOVATION: Explore external developments and evaluate their potential impact.
  • Business Case | GENERAL | ADVICE: Manage the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for projects.
  • Documentation and Backup | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | DATA MANAGEMENT: Create and maintain technical and user documentation and ensure data backup.
  • Culture of Innovation | GENERAL | INNOVATION: Promote innovative solutions and creative collaboration.
  • Agile Backlog Management | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Review and reprioritize project backlog to optimize value.
  • Practice Leadership | GENERAL | LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION: Define and develop standards of practice, incorporating latest research and legislative changes.
  • Agile Development Team Facilitation | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: Lead Scrum ceremonies and facilitate team collaboration.
