Placements24 is seeking a Senior Facilities Sanitation Specialist to lead cleaning and sanitation initiatives at our Midrand operations. You will oversee a team, enforce strict hygiene protocols, and drive continuous improvement in all sanitation activities to ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting inspections, managing supplies, and coordinating with other departments to minimize disruption.

Formación

• Proven experience as sanitation supervisor or senior cleaner in facilities management.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and sanitation best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and enforce rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols tailored to commercial facilities in Midrand.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to identify hygiene issues or areas needing improvement.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities with minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Investigate and resolve sanitation-related complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on cleaning technologies, products, and best practices in sanitation.
• Prepare reports on cleaning performance, supply usage, and staff activities for management review.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
