Job description

We are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager

This role is individually accountable for managing a team that plans, coordinates, and controls all technical and facilities management activities. The incumbent is responsible for achieving results through the efforts of others over periods of up to a year.

DUTIES
  1. Budgeting and Forecasting
    Ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  2. Building Maintenance Systems and Contract Management
    Ensure all Planned Maintenance is executed according to schedule, update maintenance schedules and operating systems, and manage all Service Providers as per their contracts.
  3. Capital Projects
    Execute all CAPEX Projects within the annual budget.
  4. Risk Management and OHSACT Compliance
    Conduct annual risk inspections, address identified risks, and ensure properties comply with all OHSACT requirements and regulations.
  5. Utilities Management
    Monitor and analyze electricity, water, and waste consumption, and implement savings initiatives.
  6. Customer / Client Satisfaction
    Provide a 24-hour response to internal and external queries or requests and embody the company's values.
  7. Shared KRAs
    Contribute to the Overall Business Segment Score and discretionary effort.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Facilities / Operations Management.
  • Engineering degree/diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, or registered artisan, or other relevant technical qualification, with at least 10 years of practical experience in engineering or the built environment.
  • Awareness and implementation of quality standards, basic contract management, business writing, financial/numeracy skills, and computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Advanced technical knowledge, understanding of company policies and procedures, administration principles, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements, including OHSACT.
