Senior Facilities Management Specialist
Contract Duration: 01 August – 31 July

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations across multiple sites (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using modern tools
- Lead and execute facility-related projects from planning to completion
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with OHS and environmental regulations through audits and inspections
- Drive sustainability initiatives, energy management, and operational efficiency
- Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and oversee procurement
- Lead and mentor a facilities team; encourage a culture of safety, performance, and growth
- Leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance reporting
Qualifications
- Senior Certificate and a Technical Diploma in any trade
- 3–5 years of hands-on facilities management experience
- Proven leadership in managing teams and operations in technical environments
- Sound knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning and project execution
- Excellent budgeting, communication, and vendor negotiation skills
- In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations
Advantageous Skills
- Experience with CAFM systems, BMS, and energy management technologies
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and facility performance metrics
- Comfort with digital communication and collaboration tools
