Senior Facilities Management Specialist

Contract Duration: 01 August – 31 July

Ready to lead and innovate in facilities management at a global automotive powerhouse? Join as a Senior Facilities Management Specialist, where your expertise will ensure optimal operations, sustainable practices, and world-class infrastructure in a high-energy, future-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily facility operations across multiple sites (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
2. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using modern tools
3. Lead and execute facility-related projects from planning to completion
4. Prepare and manage annual budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs
5. Ensure compliance with OHS and environmental regulations through audits and inspections
6. Drive sustainability initiatives, energy management, and operational efficiency
7. Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and oversee procurement
8. Lead and mentor a facilities team; encourage a culture of safety, performance, and growth
9. Leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance reporting

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate and a Technical Diploma in any trade
• 3–5 years of hands-on facilities management experience
• Proven leadership in managing teams and operations in technical environments
• Sound knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning and project execution
• Excellent budgeting, communication, and vendor negotiation skills
• In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations

Advantageous Skills

• Experience with CAFM systems, BMS, and energy management technologies
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and facility performance metrics
