POSITION INFO : About the Client :

Suppliers of imported and locally manufactured seating and tables for Office, Contract, Food and Beverage and Hospitality sectors Established 20 years ago during which time we have grown organically to become amongst the biggest player in our niche sector.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior External Sales Consultant to join our team in Gauteng. The primary role will involve managing and expanding our network of specifiers, designers, and trade clients. This role requires a strategic, experienced sales professional who can promote our product range and secure product specifications for key projects across office, contract, and hospitality furniture sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

Account Management : Service and grow relationships with existing clients, including :

Specifiers : Interior Designers, Space Planners, Interior Architects, and Architects, promoting our products for project specifications.

Other Markets : Office furniture retailers, project procurement agents, hotel groups, and restaurant chains.

Business Development : Identify and develop new business opportunities and nurture relationships to grow our customer base.

Territory Management : Primarily serving clients in Gauteng, including Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, East Rand, and West Rand.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

Experience : 10+ years of experience, with recent roles in external sales.

Industry Background : Experience in any of the following : Office or Contract Furniture, Furnishing fabrics, lighting, or interior architectural products, and equipment sales for restaurants and hotels.

Skills :

Strong relationship-building skills, especially with design and procurement professionals.

Proven ability to secure product specifications in project-based sales environments.

Solid track record in both account management and new business acquisition.

R22,500 – R27,500 + Incredibly lucrative commission structure - (Negotiable) Compensation & Benefits : A highly competitive package will be formulated to suit the ideal candidate and will comprise a basic salary, vehicle allowance, and commission.

Retirement Annuity will be optional after one year, with matching employer contributions.
