Job description

Established events company, specialising in MICE and Exhibition space, is seeking a dynamic Senior Events Project Manager and Designer to join their team. This person can be based in Joburg or Cape Town. The successful candidate will work both virtually and on-site.

This fantastic candidate, a dynamic go-getter, should have extensive experience in conferencing, events, and exhibition spaces and possess an existing network to leverage. They should be highly effective, efficient, and highly organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. The candidate must be able to get the job done in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include the ability to travel around Gauteng and across South Africa, owning own transport, and working late hours as is standard in this industry. The candidate should be a team player and capable of delegating tasks. A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 6 years of experience are required. Agency experience is also essential.
