Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a senior ethics and conduct professional to drive and implement ethics standards across the bank. You will design an ethics program aligned with values and objectives and develop an ethics toolbox with policy, training, and governance.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years proven experience in ethics and conduct within financial services or a related field.
• Knowledge of ethics program development, management and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience conducting investigations and handling confidential information.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks in financial services.
• 3–4 years' experience developing and delivering training programmes.
• Expert knowledge of ethics and conduct regulation across complex organisations.
• Ability to influence executives and stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop an ethics program aligned with values and strategic objectives.
• Advise and guide the implementation of an ethics and conduct toolbox including strategy, policy, process, standards and governance.
• Establish and monitor governance for effective ethics and conduct management across the Group.
• Build and maintain credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management and internal audit.
