Job summary

The Financial Intelligence Centre in Pretoria, South Africa, is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to design integrated solution architectures and guide the implementation within the Enterprise Architecture Business Unit.

You will translate complex business requirements into architecture blueprints, drive governance, risk management, and strategy alignment across ICT initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or Business Intelligence (NQF 7).
• TOGAF Certification.
• 8 Years in IT or Solutions Architecture.
• 3 Years in Enterprise Architecture tools.
• 6 Years in solutions design, development and administration for large scale solutions.
• 6 Years in solutions architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions including components, interfaces, data flows and infrastructure.
• Maintain traceable solutions architecture blueprints and design patterns.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and ICT standards.
• Provide input to governance structures and architecture repository updates.
• Lead stakeholder engagements to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Support and ensure compliant, secure, scalable architecture implementations.
