Job description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition responsible for prospecting and closing new business in the Swiss region. Your role involves identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with new customers, managing forecasts, and tracking customer data. We emphasize a consultative sales approach—understanding customer needs before discussing products. Your expertise will help articulate our product value, support customers during trials, and transition relationships to our Growth team. A technical background and prior experience selling technical products are preferred.

Responsibilities
  1. Meet and exceed sales targets quarterly and annually
  2. Engage in outbound prospecting for new customers
  3. Handle all sales process stages: prospecting, meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations
  4. Develop sales through outbound and inbound leads
  5. Convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise effectively
  6. Manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce
  7. Oversee quote creation, order processing, and customer requests
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years in Infrastructure Technology Sales
  2. Consistent top 10% performer with goal achievement in competitive environments
  3. Experience in high-velocity technology companies
  4. Proficiency with Salesforce
  5. Knowledge of open source technology is advantageous
  6. Excellent communication skills across all channels and relationship-building abilities
  7. Experience with sales methodologies like Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is a plus

The OTE compensation range for this role in Switzerland is CHF 248,500 - CHF 288,500. Actual pay varies based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and additional perks detailed on our careers page.

*Compensation ranges are country-specific. Applicants from other locations will have their pay discussed during the recruitment process.
