Job summary

ATS Client is seeking an experienced embedded systems engineer to drive software development, deployment and maintenance for cash processing technology. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of technical products, ensure secure and compliant SSDLC, and integrate device systems with client environments.

You will work on device-to-backend communication, ActiveMQ messaging, and backend services while optimizing performance and cost. Strong C++ skills and Linux expertise are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, CS or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in specialized technical/engineering roles.
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT devices and hardware integration.
• Strong C++ development for device-level and backend services.
• Experience with ActiveMQ and device-to-backend communication.
• Proven ability to optimize systems and implement cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life for technical products.
• Define and enforce SSDLC for embedded and backend development.
• Develop integration of cash processing devices into client environments.
• Maintain device-to-backend communication and ActiveMQ messaging.
• Provide technical support and ensure security and compliance.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability of systems.
