Job summary

Qualifications

• 10 years of related practical experience in an agile environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units.
• Record data on testing results.
• Understands and applies configuration processes.
• Knowledge of analogue and digital designs and troubleshooting techniques.
• Keeps abreast of current developments in area of expertise.
• Understand functionality of Test Equipment/Instrumentation for SRU/LRU fault-finding.
• Adhere to Company Standard Work Processes and provide feedback for improvements.
• Read electronic circuit diagrams and perform fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Test, fault-find, log in failures and update status on ERP Shop orders to meet delivery dates.
• Assemble and integrate LRUs and SRUs.
• Test units up to assembly level and fault-find analogue/digital circuitry.
• Install, maintain, calibrate and repair basic electronic equipment as required.
• Provide feedback on technical problems for corrective action.
• Support the Manager in achieving departmental goals.
• Follow health, safety and environmental regulations and lean manufacturing principles.
• Calibrate and check testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of materials and floor stock.
