About the Role
The Senior Electrical Manager will be responsible for managing the electrical aspects of new construction projects, ensuring all systems are designed and installed in line with specifications, deadlines, budgets, and safety standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Requirements
Proven managerial experience
Stable work history with contactable references
Excellent knowledge of electrical regulations, procedures, and policies
Development and/or construction experience
Valid 3 Phase Wireman’s Licence
Own reliable vehicle
Demonstrated experience in managing electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
Create detailed step-by-step project plans
Oversee multiple aspects of a project simultaneously
Share regular progress reports with clients and stakeholders
Identify, address, and resolve issues or delays promptly
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
Lead and motivate electrical teams to achieve project objectives
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
Collaborate effectively with managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet requirements and resolve issues
Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimise efficiency and minimise costs
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with electrical systems
Implement quality control measures to meet required specifications
Prepare project reports, document progress, and maintain accurate records of all electrical work
