Job summary

SGS Bateman seeks an Electrical Engineer to produce cost-effective electrical designs for processing plants, following ISO methodologies and using advanced 3-D design tools. B. Sc/B. Eng or B. Tech Electrical Engineer and ECSA registration as a professional engineer.
7–12 years of relevant experience in engineering design and project management within a processing or petrochemical plant project environment.

Responsibilities

Produce cost effective and technically sound electrical designs within required time frame to support project deliverables.
Develop electrical strategy and design criteria to suit project/client requirements.
Review key discipline documentation and drawings produced on projects.
Manage and interface with Clients, suppliers and contractors to meet project objectives.
Adhere to QA procedures and safety requirements of SGS management system.
