The salary offered ranges from R1.2 Million to R1.6 Million CTC per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Are you a seasoned Electrical Engineer with a passion for clean energy and large-scale infrastructure?
Our client, a leading developer in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Lead to take ownership of the electrical design, integration, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Southern African

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leading electrical engineering design for high-voltage utility-scale renewable energy systems (up to 500kV)

• Reviewing and approving engineering deliverables (e.g., one-lines, I&C schematics, relay settings)

• Coordinating with developers, utilities, EPC contractors, and permitting agencies

• Ensuring code compliance

• Mentoring junior engineers and serving as technical authority in project reviews

• Supporting interconnection studies and grid compliance documentation

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering

• 8–12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including lead roles on utility-scale renewable projects (solar PV, wind, BESS)

• Strong knowledge of substation design, power system studies, grounding, protection & controls

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Package & Remuneration

R1.2 Million CTC to R1.6 Million CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
