Qualifications

Engineering degree: B.Eng/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Pr. Eng/Tech in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of operational and design experience.
ECSA registration is required.
Industrial plant design experience.
Mining design experience.
SANS standards / MCC design knowledge.
MCC design (SANS) knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the electrical engineering department.
Ensure projects comply with quality and safety standards.
Mentor draftspeople and engineers.
Coordinate with other departments and clients.
Sign off detailed designs per standards and scope.
Plan designs aligned to business objectives and cost control.
