Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Rustenburg team. The role focuses on the design, development, and optimisation of electrical systems for a variety of industrial applications, delivering high-quality engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.

You will lead project execution, coordinate with clients and project teams, and support growth in the North West region, contributing to operational efficiency and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project execution.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools; PLCs/SCADA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test electrical control systems and power distribution networks.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection calculations.
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and project docs.
• Troubleshoot on-site and remotely with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to tailor solutions.

Key Responsibilities
