Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, youll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing design and implementation processes, and ensuring compliance with international and client-specific standards. Youll play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle from concept development through to delivery, contributing to projects in industries such as mining, oil & gas, mineral processing, and heavy engineering.

This role offers exposure to international stakeholders, design codes, and engineering practices while giving you the platform to grow your technical and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• B. Tech / B. Sc / B. Eng degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA
• 58 years relevant electrical design experience
• Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Mineral Processing, or Heavy Engineering sectors
• Knowledge of international design standards and codes
• Strong cross-disciplinary understanding to lead subsystem discussions and assess competing solutions
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-Plan or similar CAD systems
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a small engineering team
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, MS Project)
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
