The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in electrical design and industrial automation, with strong skills in Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, and motor control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000), HMI development, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for automated industrial machinery and processes using CAD software.
• Program and configure PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000), HMIs, and SCADA systems to meet project specifications.
• Select appropriate electrical components, motors, drives, and control devices.
• Develop and implement system integration strategies for complex automation projects.
• Conduct site surveys and commissioning of automation systems, providing on-site support as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues during design, build, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety standards (IEC 60204-1) and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, manuals, and test procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
