SUMMARY :
A well-known water treatment solutions company is seeking a professional to manage customers within the industrial, municipal, commercial, and institutional water treatment markets. The goal is to ensure the company achieves its revenue, profitability, and market share objectives aligned with its portfolio.
POSITION DETAILS :
Minimum requirements for the role :
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, environmental science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Effluent water treatment experience is required.
- Technical knowledge of water treatment processes, chemistry, and equipment, with the ability to design solutions using the latest technologies such as dissolved air flotation, clarifiers, multi-filter media, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage the sale and technical service of water treatment products across various markets, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Conduct plant surveys independently and design solutions utilizing advanced water treatment technologies.
- Prepare sales budgets and meet or exceed sales and profit goals.
- Oversee annual reviews of strategic and major accounts, setting mutually agreed goals for the upcoming year.
- Train and motivate the service team; accompany them on sales and service visits.
- Provide monthly reports on customer visits and present findings to management.
- Maintain and service existing applications and projects in sectors like food and beverage, industrial, hospital, and HVAC.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
- Drive growth by creating customer value and leveraging the company's product portfolio and competitive advantages.
