The successful candidate will manage surveys, analyze data with statistical tools, and contribute to research and policy development, supported by field equipment and professional development

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Ecology, Conservation Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant research and practical experience in ecological studies and conservation.
• Strong quantitative skills, including experience with statistical analysis and ecological modeling software.
• Proven ability to conduct fieldwork in diverse environments and manage research projects.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ecological surveys and monitoring programs to assess biodiversity and ecosystem health.
• Analyze ecological data using statistical software and modeling techniques to inform conservation strategies.
• Develop and manage conservation action plans and research projects focused on species and habitat protection.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities on conservation initiatives.
