Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator for our Pretoria campus to lead a classroom of young learners, develop and deliver engaging programs, and mentor junior educators.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field, a minimum of 5 years in a senior role, strong classroom management and communication skills, and current First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years as an Early Years Educator with leadership/senior experience.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents/management.
• Communicate with parents regarding progress and well-being.
• Mentor and support junior educators on curriculum delivery and classroom management.
• Ensure safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curriculum and strategies.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and incident records.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
