Placements24 is seeking a Senior Early Childhood Educator to join a fully remote team serving South Africa. You will lead development of age-appropriate, play-based curricula and deliver engaging online sessions for children aged 2–6.

You will mentor junior educators, collaborate with curriculum designers, and maintain strong communication with parents to track development and engagement in a digital learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in early childhood education with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering engaging online content.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and age-appropriate methodologies.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with parents and colleagues.
• Experience with online platforms and digital learning environments.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering engaging educational content, preferably with exposure to online platforms.
• Exceptional understanding of child psychology, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate learning methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex educational concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in using various digital collaboration and learning management systems.
• A strong commitment to child safety and well-being in a virtual setting.
