Job summary

General Heavy Machinery in South Africa is seeking an experienced Drill Rig Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of drill rigs and heavy equipment, with a proven track record in selling capital equipment to mining, construction, quarrying, or related sectors.

You will identify new business opportunities, build durable client relationships, prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate large equipment sales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales of drill rigs or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of drill rigs, drilling applications and equipment.
• Existing network within the mining, construction and/or drilling industry will be advantageous.
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
• Experience in preparing quotations, proposals and negotiating large equipment sales.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
