Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Director, Finance is a leadership role, accountable for overseeing and managing the financial operations, strategies, and performance of the organization. This role involves managing financial planning, reporting, risk management, and ensuring the organization's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations. It is also responsible for providing strategic pricing strategy and analysis to the business, leading finance and commercial teams, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

What you'll be doing
  1. Develop and execute financial strategy: Align with overall business goals, including short-term and long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  2. Financial reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely financial reports to senior leadership.
  3. Financial analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, implementing strategies to safeguard assets.
  5. Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and laws across regions.
  6. Stakeholder communication: Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, auditors, internal teams, and external partners.
  7. Financial resources management: Oversee resource allocation, investments, and controls to prevent fraud and errors.
  8. Strategic initiatives: Support mergers, acquisitions, and financial due diligence as needed.
  9. Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, setting goals, mentoring, and fostering accountability.
  10. Negotiations: Lead negotiations with vendors and clients, including SLAs and pricing strategies.

  • Deep understanding of the IT industry, business processes, and financial software.
  • Experience with global finance operations, including taxation, forex, and compliance.
