Placements24 is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant for our client in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will lead digital transformation engagements, shaping strategies and roadmaps to drive growth and performance across industries.

You will manage cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and present recommendations to C-suite executives, while fostering relationships with senior stakeholders and contributing to business development. Travel within Gauteng and across South Africa may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in management consulting with a track record in digital transformation strategy.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies (AI, Cloud, Data Analytics, IoT) and their business applications.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with clients in the South African market is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and presentation software.
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng and across South Africa as required by client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital transformation strategies for clients.
• Lead client workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions to identify opportunities and define roadmaps.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and technology trend assessments.
• Manage project teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders within client organizations.
• Prepare and present strategic recommendations, reports, and presentations to C-suite executives.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants.
• Contribute to business development including proposals.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their impact on strategy.
