Senior Digital Marketer –Remote (South Africa).

A leading US-based e-commerce retailer in the wellness, medical, and spa equipment sector is looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Digital Marketer to join their growing remote team. This company is known for its professional-grade products, exceptional customer service, and consultative sales approach, serving wellness practitioners, massage therapists, and healthcare professionals across the United States and Canada

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company’s Meta paid campaigns and organic content strategy; crafting and implementing the Company’s email marketing; and designing creative collateral for the Company’s storefront and marketplaces (principally Amazon.com, akin to Takealot).

The role requires a strong analytical mindset to evaluate campaign performance, segment customer data, and recommend evidence-based strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth.

This is a remote position ideal for a self-motivated, data-driven creative marketing professional with a proven track record in email campaign execution

Fully Remote (For South African Based Candidates Only).

Salary: R30 000 to R40 000 per month CTC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience managing email marketing for an e-commerce brand or online store
  • 3+ years’ experience in graphic design/content creation (email, social media, or product content)
  • 3+ years’ experience in paid and organic social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and/or Tiktok)
  • Proficient in email marketing software (Klaviyo preferred, Mailchimp acceptable)
  • Strong marketing analytics skills with the ability to track, analyse, and report on campaign performance across email and social media channels
  • Experience with A/B testing, product and customer segmentation strategies, and performance optimisation
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or equivalent design tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Experience in the wellness, healthcare, or spa industry is advantageous
  • Fully equipped to work remotely with stable internet, and necessary software/tools
  • Willing and able to work USA business hours 3:30pm -12:30am – SA Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute weekly and monthly email marketing campaigns
  • Create and optimise email flows to drive engagement and sales
  • Manage subscriber lists, segmentation, and automation workflows
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing on subject lines, creative, and send times to improve performance
  • Monitor, interpret, and report on key performance metrics (Open rates, CTR, conversions, CVR, revenue attribution)
  • Develop and A/B test social media static and video creative in both ads and organic posts
  • Analyse customer behaviour and purchasing trends to refine targeting strategies and improve sales and ROAS
  • Prepare detailed campaign performance dashboards and insights for management review
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing content with promotions and new product launches
  • Produce visually compelling graphics for emails, social posts, and product pages
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communication channels
  • Contribute to broader digital marketing initiatives based on skillset (e.g., curation and refinement of the company’s core digital asset library, product page design)
  • Stay up to date with industry benchmarks and best practices in email marketing analytics, ensuring continuous improvement in campaign effectiveness
