Senior Developer C And Agile Experience

Our client, a dynamic young tech business that provides end-to-end digital media and fintech technology products, is urgently looking for a Senior Developer with C# and Agile Experience to design and write software and lead team members by demonstrating good adherence to industry and organizational best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Postgraduate Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
2. Development Certification: Microsoft or equivalent
3. C# and Agile experience
4. 3 years experience in Information Technology (DTH / IPTV / OTT / VOD / Broadcasting including Linear Content Receipt technology and Play Through Advertising Servers)
5. Advanced knowledge of web technologies and system architectures
6. Knowledge of Linear Content Receipt technology and Play Through Advertising Servers
7. Basic understanding of smartphone application development and OTT app functionality
8. Knowledge of common operating systems
9. Good understanding of OTT head end and CDN systems
10. Advanced numeric and statistical analysis (network metrics, VOD subscriber statistics)
11. Good understanding of linear headend and conditional access systems
12. Good understanding of streaming technologies such as HLS, MS Smooth Streaming, HTML5

Responsibilities:

1. Software Development: produce fully functional applications, write clean code, support the entire application lifecycle, gather requirements, suggest solutions, write tests, troubleshoot, and optimize performance.
2. Design interfaces to enhance user experience, liaise with product teams, ensure quality standards, research new technologies, review team work, and promote best practices.
3. Communication and Reporting: keep team informed of progress and issues, update relevant systems, and share relevant information and case studies.
4. People Management and Development: mentor team members, share ideas for improvements, stay updated on new technologies, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
