A leading global PR and communications agency is seeking a skilled PR professional for their Johannesburg office. The role involves crafting innovative strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring top-notch delivery of PR campaigns for top-tier clients. Candidates should have a strong background in PR, with at least 5 years of experience, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location : Cape Town (Woodstock) or Johannesburg (Rosebank)
Work model : Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days at home)
Salary : R35 000 – R45 000 CTC

What the job involves..
Developing innovative PR strategies that drive results and align with client goals
Building strong relationships with journalists and editors across platforms
Managing client accounts day-to-day, ensuring top-quality delivery
Proactively spotting media opportunities and pitching newsworthy stories
Tracking media coverage and offering strategic insight based on performance
Providing expert counsel on media relations, crisis comms, and reputation management
Collaborating with creatives and strategists to ensure seamless campaign execution
What you need to be considered..
5+ years’ experience in PR across consumer and business clients
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
Proven ability to deliver smart, effective PR campaigns
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
Great time management and the ability to juggle multiple projects
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changeable environment
You are a natural at building strong, trusted relationships with clients
