Job description

The Delphi Support Consultant will add capacity to the single resource Implats has. The key resource will move onto the IBR Project to enhance the Delphi application based on new requirements, while this additional resource will be focused on business-as-usual support to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the bespoke application.
• Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Analyze and debug Delphi code to fix bugs or enhance functionality.
• Implement updates or modifications as per user requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of the bespoke application with other systems or databases.
• Test and validate integration points to maintain data consistency.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.
• Address memory management and resource utilization issues in Delphi.
• Identify potential issues before they escalate and implement preventive measures.
• Strong understanding of Delphi programming.

Requirements:
