Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that address complex business challenges in Cape Town. You will lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, mentor juniors, and collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes building scalable solutions on AWS and Snowflake, creating Power BI dashboards, and ensuring data quality and governance while advancing the company's data strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, ML, or related field.
• Hands-on with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue) and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Experience building/deploying predictive, classification, clustering, and forecasting models.
• Strong data engineering knowledge, data pipelines, and large-scale processing.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into analytical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities
