About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to apply advanced data analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning solutions to optimise business performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing predictive models, maintaining and enhancing statistical frameworks, and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced analytics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing AI and machine learning models to optimise business performance
- Promote the adoption of data science methodologies across the organisation
- Manage data-driven projects that drive strategic business decisions
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- PhD in a related field is advantageous
- Six to eight years of experience in data science, including predictive model development and implementation
- Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data science techniques, and machine learning algorithms including neural networks, random forests, and boosting methods
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS
- Proficiency in data storytelling and visualisation using Tableau, Power BI, or SAS Visual Analytics
- Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning innovations and their applications in the healthcare industry
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and deploy machine learning solutions using open-source and cloud technologies
