Partner Company in SA is seeking a Data QA Engineer to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across web data extraction projects and AI-assisted solutions. You will translate requirements into measurable quality standards and integrate testing early in projects.

You will use Python, SQL, and modern testing tools to analyze data, create reports, and drive quality improvements with cross-functional teams. Remote, international collaboration is encouraged.

Formación

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience in software, data testing or data QA.
• Proficient with Python for data analysis and validation (Pandas, Jupyter).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to query relational databases.
• Solid understanding of web tech: HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, CSS.
• Experience testing HTTP/REST APIs and validating responses.
• Familiar with test design, data management, exploratory and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer data extraction and web scraping requirements into clear, testable QA strategies.
• Perform exploratory, manual and automated testing where value is gained.
• Execute test cycles on extracted datasets to verify client specs and find defects.
• Document defects with reproducible steps and evidence for fast resolution.
• Use descriptive statistics and visuals to assess data completeness, accuracy and drift.
• Prepare quality reports and scoring metrics for internal teams and customers.
• Identify testing scope, untested areas and risks to guide project decisions.
• Collaborate with managers and customers to clarify requirements and make QA measurable.
• Contribute to test automation framework improvements for coverage and performance.
• Suggest QA process/tooling upgrades, including browser extensions and UI testing tools.
• Work independently while maintaining close collaboration with QA leadership and developers.
