Vodacom is recruiting for a strategic Data Product Manager to shape enterprise data products and drive a data-first culture across Group and 8 markets. You will co-build roadmaps, align with data stewards, and partner with engineering, science and technology teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes governance, literacy and change initiatives, with a focus on embedding data product thinking through OKRs, backlogs and continuous improvement across Group and operating companies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data product management, data strategy, data analytics or a related data role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field (essential).
• Professional certification in Product Management and Product Delivery or Data Management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and co-build enterprise-wide data products with data stewards and business champions.
• Develop and maintain data product roadmaps, backlogs and documentation for clarity and reuse.
• Partner with data engineering, data science and technology teams to ensure scalable, high-quality data products.
• Champion data as a product by establishing OKRs, prioritisation and user feedback loops.
• Design data literacy and change management initiatives across Group and markets.
