You will mentor engineers, collaborate with analysts and scientists, and shape the future direction of the Data Engineering function, incorporating AI-assisted development practices to deliver reliable, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in Python for building scalable applications, pipelines, or services.
• Strong SQL skills with design of schemas and optimization for large datasets.
• Significant data/ backend engineering experience, owning systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and operation of scalable data pipelines and backend services.
• Write efficient SQL for extraction, transformation, and analysis; design schemas and standards.
• Develop and maintain APIs/services (e.g. FastAPI, SQLAlchemy) to expose data.
