Job summary

Tumaini Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing team in Durban. You will design, build and maintain robust data solutions on modern cloud-based platforms.

You will develop and optimise scalable data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources for BI and analytics, and ensure data quality across systems. Strong SQL skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
