Momentum Investments is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and platforms. You will enable trusted analytics and governance within an Agile environment across Momentum’s data ecosystem.

You will collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to AI-enabled data solutions while ensuring security, reliability, and cost awareness on AWS-based architectures.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4–7+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering production-ready data pipelines and platforms.
• Strong exposure to AWS-based data architectures.
• Hands-on in Agile or SAFe environments with AI tooling exposure.
• Ability to apply AI responsibly in engineering work and validate outputs.
• Advanced Python and SQL capabilities; data warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with data ingestion from diverse sources and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with Power BI and analytics tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver data engineering outcomes aligned to sprint goals and program commitments.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute estimation and planning.
• Decompose features into tasks with reliable effort estimates.
• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Build scalable batch and incremental processing patterns.
• Ensure robust pipelines with error handling, monitoring and alerts.
• Support data platform design aligned to target architecture and security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Promote governance, AI controls, and secure development practices.
