Job summary

AECOM SA is seeking a Senior Technologist in Architecture (Data Centre) to join our Enterprise Capabilities team in Gauteng. You will lead architectural work on projects with minimal supervision, focusing on BIM model production and design coordination within the architecture and cross-discipline teams.

The role requires a BTech in Architectural Technology, SACAP registration and at least eight years of experience in the built environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology (BTech) from an accredited University.
• 8 years experience within the built environment.
• Registered as a Professional Architectural Technologist (SACAP).

Responsibilities

• BIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy)
• Design co-ordination (withinArchitecture & Cross Discipline)
• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
• Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Under some supervision, may complete design assignments of moderate to high complexity.
