Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Professional Architect (Data Centre) to lead architectural discipline across data centre projects and deliver comprehensive design solutions. You will coordinate across teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure designs meet briefs, codes, and standards.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements, requiring office presence at least three days per week, with a focus on timely, high-quality design outputs for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Architect.
• Registered as a full Professional Architect (SACAP).
• Experience delivering data centre architecture projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver architectural discipline involvement across data centre projects.
• Develop design solutions for data centre infrastructure with detailed calculations and drawings.
• Conduct design reviews ensuring compliance with briefs, specs, and standards.
• Manage design coordination across architecture and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff on design methods and best practices.
• Prepare design documentation and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
