NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Architect to shape our data go‑to‑market strategy in South Africa. You will act as a strategic technical advisor between Sales, Clients and Delivery, focusing on Enterprise Data, AI adoption and data governance.

You will influence executive conversations and translate complex data strategies into practical solutions. You will lead architecture discussions, develop capability roadmaps, and help localise global data capabilities into market‑relevant offerings for

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise architecture, consulting or technical pre‑sales.
Broad experience with data governance, data engineering and data platforms.
Strong knowledge of AI adoption, information governance and ontology‑based modelling.

Responsibilities

Act as a strategic advisor to Sales, Clients and Delivery teams on data and analytics.
Define target‑state architectures, roadmaps and investment priorities.
Shape data go‑to‑market strategy and industry propositions for SA market.
Lead executive discussions on data strategy, governance and AI readiness.
Review estimates, risks and commercial models for opportunities.
Translate complex data/AI strategies into executive proposals and SOWs.
Localise global data capabilities into market‑relevant offerings.
Mentor sales teams to raise technical capability and qualification discipline.
