Senior Data Analyst

We have a position available for a Senior Data Analyst in the Woodmead area.

Candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:

1. Month – End Reporting: Drafting of primary data for month end reports. Preparation and submission of the Inland Freight Spend Report. Preparation and submission of Internal rate notifications and rate updates. Preparation and submission of LSP prepayments and loan repayments. Preparation and submission of management invoices. Preparation and submission of the management presentation. Preparation and submission of stakeholder’s monthly reports. Preparation and submission of monthly fuel surcharges.
2. Dedicated Fleet Management: Updating the Dedicated Fleet Master data. Requesting and updating arrival dates. Requesting and reviewing GPS reports. Resolving of all Dedicated Fleet-related queries.
3. Demurrage Management: Preparation and submission of the Month-End Demurrage Report. Preparation and submission of the Monthly LSP Demurrage Schedules. Submission of demurrage approvals to LSPs. Verification and submission of demurrage invoices for payment. Follow-up on outstanding invoices. Updating the demurrage schedule. Resolution of demurrage-related queries.
4. Query Resolution: Ensure timely and efficient resolution of all queries related to your function. Queries to be followed up until resolved.
5. Correct and Efficient Utilization of Company Share Drive: Ensure all the necessary up to date as well as historical reports, templates, documents are saved on the Company Share Drive under the correct folder.
6. Response time: Timely and efficient response time on all communication via email, WhatsApp and WeChat. In the case of queries communication to be done daily up until resolution (whether during work hours or after hours).

Compensation: Basic salary of R 30000.00 to R 35000.00 on offer depending on experience and qualifications, medical aid, provident fund, phone allowance and lunch.
