Job description

A Senior Data Analyst acts on analytics efforts fully independently. Individuals will create advanced-level insights and recommendations in their area of expertise as well as adjacent areas. Individuals in this role are subject matter experts in their domain. A Senior Data Analyst II also begins to coach and effectively leverage more junior team members.

Responsibilities

Executes projects and initiatives fully independently and acts as a subject matter expert in their domain.

Works with stakeholders and guides them through hypothesis thinking.

Identifies the most relevant analyses and metrics to support business and customer insights and recommendations.

Expertly blends and prepares data, applying multiple tools and languages, and leverages the benefits of big data platforms.

Has experience in advanced statistical analysis and applies advanced data models and scenarios.

Designs and creates compelling visualizations to influence stakeholders.

Identifies opportunities and barriers, suggests basic solutions, and communicates these to others, including outside the analytics team.

Possesses an advanced understanding of the discipline, industry, and activity.

Effectively leads and manages medium/tactical analytics projects and team members to keep projects on time and within budget by assigning work aligned with execution plans.

Requirements

Preferred Academic Background: Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree.

Preferred Field of Study: Mathematics/Science.

Relevant Experience: 5-7 years

Strong analytical and research skills for resolving complex identity issues.

Able to contribute collaboratively within a team while managing tasks independently.
