Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect for a remote-first role focused on designing, building, and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for our client in renewable energy technology. You will identify and mitigate complex cyber risks while guiding security initiatives across IT and OT environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in security architecture, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), threat modeling, risk assessment, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on architecting secure systems.
• Proven experience designing secure architectures for complex IT and OT environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern security technologies (zero trust, microsegmentation).
• Expertise in risk assessment methodologies, threat intelligence, and incident response frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, cryptography, and security protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, SABSA, or CISM are highly preferred.
