Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, or incident response.
• Proven experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, OS, and common attack methods.
• Experience with EDR solutions and threat intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM systems for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
• Analyze alerts, logs and network traffic to identify threats.
• Investigate security incidents including malware analysis and root cause analysis.
• Develop threat detection rules and correlation logic in security tools.
• Participate in incident response including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Stay updated on threats, vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Prepare incident reports and security improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT to implement controls and best practices.
