Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a fully remote role. You will focus on threat detection, analysis, and response to safeguard digital assets and maintain security posture.

You will monitor, analyze, and coordinate responses to incidents, while documenting procedures and guiding security controls. Remote, autonomous work is essential, with 5+ years in cybersecurity and strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell) as assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions, and other security monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
