Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join a globally distributed security operations center. This fully remote position focuses on advanced threat detection, analysis, and response, protecting the organization from sophisticated cyber-attacks while monitoring security systems and developing countermeasures.

You will mentor junior analysts, run threat hunting initiatives, refine detection rules and playbooks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis.
• Expertise with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, EDR.
• Strong understanding of attacker methodologies, TTPs, and threat intelligence analysis.
• Certifications like CISSP, GIAC or similar are highly valued.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
