Penta Consulting is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and enhance enterprise cybersecurity capabilities across security operations, incident response, identity management, endpoint security, data protection, cloud security, and application security.

You will act as a technical cybersecurity SME, driving initiatives, mitigating risks, and supporting secure technology practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
• Hands-on with SIEM/SOC operations, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with IAM and privileged access management.
• Cloud and network security, data protection and DLP experience.
• Experience in enterprise security environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead cybersecurity incident response, investigations, and remediation activities.
• Manage and optimise SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Support IAM controls, including MFA, SSO, and privileged access.
• Implement and maintain data protection and DLP solutions.
• Develop and enforce API security and secure SDLC standards.
• Manage web, email, cloud, and endpoint security controls.
• Support vulnerability management and threat detection activities.
• Provide security guidance to technical teams and mentor staff.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and enhance enterprise cybersecurity capabilities across security operations, incident response, identity management, endpoint security, data protection, cloud security, and application security.

This role will act as a technical cybersecurity SME, driving security initiatives, mitigating risks, responding to incidents, and supporting secure technology practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity incident response, investigations, and remediation activities.
• Manage and optimise SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Support identity and access management controls, including MFA, SSO, and privileged access.
• Implement and maintain data protection and DLP solutions.
• Develop and enforce API security and secure development standards.
• Manage web, email, cloud, and endpoint security controls.
• Support vulnerability management, penetration testing remediation, and threat detection activities.
• Conduct security assessments and provide security guidance to technical teams.
• Mentor junior team members and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
