Responsibilities
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to increase awareness and usage of our pharmaceutical and medical products in settings such as doctor practices and hospitals, ensuring prescriptions are fulfilled at pharmacies.
  • Arrange appointments with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals within targeted disease areas.
  • Organize continuing medical education (CME) for medical staff.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with medical and administrative staff.
  • Manage budgets for events and activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of contacts and strive to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Plan work schedules and coordinate with the sales team on future targets.
  • Attend company meetings, review technical data, and stay updated on clinical information.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
  • Develop strategies to increase engagement with healthcare contacts and create effective business plans.
Territory

Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth & Surrounds)

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric; tertiary qualification in Medical/Sciences preferred.
  • At least five years' experience as a representative calling on GPs, specialists, and pharmacists.
  • High work ethic, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn, organize, persuade, and build long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including overnight trips and weekend work.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Women's Health or pharmacy sales advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans beneficial.
