Job summary

Network Finance in Randburg, South Africa seeks an experienced Senior Mobile Architect to lead cross‑platform development and shape mobile strategy. You will design scalable architectures, mentor developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality apps.

You will own end‑to‑end release management for Android and iOS, ensure secure coding practices, and drive continuous improvement across the mobile stack while coordinating with global teams and third‑party services.

Qualifications

Diploma in Software Development or related field.
Degree in IT/CS/Engineering advantageous.
Minimum 6 years' software development experience.
Proven mentoring experience.
Strong hands-on with React Native, TypeScript, and Modern React.
Android and iOS development experience.
REST APIs and microservices experience.
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS EventBridge).
Cloud experience (Azure advantageous).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using modern frameworks and technologies.
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly apps.
Integrate apps with APIs, backend services, databases, and third-party platforms.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
Own end-to-end release management for Android and iOS applications.
Manage application versioning, build configurations, and deployment environments.
Ensure consistent release and deployment practices across mobile platforms.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party providers.
