Qualifications

Job description

Role Purpose

To manage the Corporate Key VGE Vodacom Business credit collection portfolio and ensure that the accounts are paid when due.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure % of all KPI targets are met in line with C&R policies.
  2. Minimize bad debt.
  3. Ensure query resolution.
  4. Follow up on non-payments.
  5. Liaise with 3rd parties to resolve account disputes, involving meetings and negotiations with CEOs, FMs, IT Managers.
  6. Ensure monthly billing and reports are sent out timely.
  7. Manage speedy dispute resolution.
  8. Daily coding of the bank statement.
  9. Maintain and build relationships with customers.
  10. Attend client meetings when required.
  11. Ensure collection targets and KPIs are met.
  12. Allocate client payments.
  13. Risk management.
  14. Approval of new business for existing clients.
Candidate Requirements
  • Matric - essential.
  • Diploma in Credit Management - advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of Credit control experience.
  • 1 year of Financial reconciliation experience.
  • Experience in forex exchange.
  • Experience dealing with 3rd parties for account disputes.
  • Experience working with EHODS, Executive Heads, and other key stakeholders.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Corporate credit knowledge.
  • Intensive reconciliation and allocation on large accounts (values >80 million).
  • Advanced MS Excel, Eppix, Converged Business knowledge, Microsoft Office, Morpheus II.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including liaising with CEOs, FMs, IT Managers, EHODS, and executive heads (local & international).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Driver's license and own car.
  • Attention to detail, analytical and investigative mindset.
  • Ability to perform complex account reconciliation.
